Greener Kirkcaldy is running a Kirkcaldy Car-Free Week from 1st – 5th March 2021. The week aims to encourage people to walk and cycle for short journeys instead of driving, and to imagine what Kirkcaldy could look like if less space was dedicated to cars.

Have a look at the full details here including events you can take part in.

Connect and collect..a book

ON Fife are looking forward to surprising and delighting you once again with their Connect and Collect service, which will be back from Monday 8 March.
The popular service – which helped nearly 83,000 books go out on loan last year to avid readers in Fife – had been put on hold following lockdown restrictions introduced in December. Info on how to book below…

Complete either an Adult Library Form or a Junior Library Form to place a Connect and Collect order now.  Alternatively you can phone a library from Monday 1 March, and talk through what you would like with a member of staff. We will then put together a collection of up to 10 books for you to collect from the library door. See the library opening hours and phone numbers HERE.

Collections will be at the door and at arranged timeslots from Monday 8 March.

Free online yoga offer

Kirkcaldy’s Centre for Positive Change has extended their free online yoga classes until the end of March.

Yoga teacher Scott believes in giving back whenever he can and after receiving messages from students saying how his online classes positively impacted their lives, he decided to extend his free offer.

His mission in 2021 is to inspire people to make self-care a priority. For a full list of terms and conditions and to book, visit his website here.
